DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
ATTRIBUTES

Take beverage orders from guests and servers.

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the Restaurant’s standard drink recipes.

Learns the names and personally recognize our regulars.

Record drink orders accurately and immediately after receipt into the register system.

Accept guest payment, process credit card charges and make change (if applicable).

Wash and sterilize glassware.

Prepare garnishes for drinks and replenish snacks, appetizers for bar patrons.

Maintains bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages.

Clear and reset tables in bar area.

Present drink menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding beverages.

Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas.

Receive and serve food orders to guests seated at the bar.

Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to restaurant manager.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
ATTRIBUTES

Responsibility of the Oulet Level Cashier is to ensure that:

  1. Billing to outlet guest as per consumption in the outlet level.
  2. Settling of chargeable invoices in cash, card or BOH mode.
  3. Receiving party advances or table booking advance from the outlet level.
  4. Settling invoices at EDC machine and keeping track of such transactions.
  5. Settling of non-chargeable invoices and taking proper authorization against the same.
  6. Day closure at all the EDC machines and tallying the same with POS system sales.
  7. Tallying of all cash sales after day closure.
  8. Performance of night audit and hence day charge in the system.
  9. Reporting all modes of transactions on daily basis to accounts department with proper reconciliation.
  10. Smooth and efficient functioning of the cashiering section in order to enhance guest satisfaction.
  11. Any other task as and when required by the business.
